Facing the Wishes is an artist book containing the portraits and wishes of the children of Brenner primary school, Tel Aviv. Elyasaf Kowner met each of the children in person, talked to them and took their photographs. One photo of each child was selected and the photos transcend the magical moment of making a wish. All 218 portraits appear in black and white and each of them fills a page of the book. The wishes of the children are added as told to the artist.
